Nyosi and Joy
Many of you want to see our two dogs that we got from the SPCA. Here are Joy (the little one) and Nyosi, the yellow lab. I show you this picture because it is Joy's favorite sleeping position--on top of Nyosi. Sometimes she even curls up in a ball on top of him. He is actually very, very patient with her and loves her greatly. Since she is so small, she got out one day while we were gone and was missing for a night. He was going beserk because she wasn't there. You should see them play. She will bite at his heels to get him to stop, and then he will sit on her. Sometimes she will attack him while he is lying down, and they will get wrestling with all the sounds of a real dogfight. When he gets tired of it he will knock her down, and then stand on her ears over her, and give it back to her. Sometimes he'll even grab her by the tail and swing her around. One morning he even had her by her jersey and was swinging her in circles.
They have been great watchdogs as while I was gone one night, some men tried to get in the house and the dogs alerted Susan, so we praise the Lord for adding them to our family. When we were looking for a dog, I wanted a big one to put some fear into any would-be crook, but the kid's fell in love with little Joy. So another day I went back to look for a dog, and God had this 6 month old yellow lab waiting for me. We named him Nyosi, which is Zulu for beast; which I hope will put the fear of God into all erstwhile theives who hear me call him. I was going to name him "Fist of God" but in Zulu that was a mouthful.
