Camp Victory

This past trip took our entire family (and nephew Brandon) to participate in the Western theme of Camp Victory in Samson, AL. It was an awesome experience as we shared our ministry with the camp and then had the privilege of teaching about missions. They have an excellent staff at Camp Victory and a wonderful group of campers. We almost didn't make it to the camp as Hurricane Emily decided to grace the area with her presence, but she left with out much ado and so camp went forward a little later and a little lighter. We also want to thank both the staff and the campers for allowing us to have the opportunity to get to know you and introduce ourselves and our ministry in South Africa to you.

One of the projects for the week was a missions offering to bring sports equipment to some needy churches in South Africa who are beginning Upward sports leagues to reach their children with the Gospel message. Our junior high campers raised $383 for that task and it was such an answer to prayer for these 2 churches who stepped out in faith to do this. Isn't God's timing amazing.
