New England Trip
What a fantastic trip to New England; thank you all for praying. It began with an early morning trip through a winter wonderland. It had just snowed that night, and as I traveled up I-91, the snow made me think of Is. 1:18 and how the blood of Jesus Christ washes us white as snow. As the sun rose it made the world a dazzling place, and I remembered Eph. 2:10 and how God is the master craftsman. It is a great blessing to serve Almighty God.
Keene, NH
My trip was a very busy time, but that is good when you're apart from your family. I spent Sunday morning with a good friend, Curt Finnamore, who is pastoring a church plant in Keene, NH. God is doing some exciting things in his church-Mount Zion. Curt and Jan are testimony to the fact that God's timing and plan are not necessarily the same as ours, but they are definitely the best.
Derry, NH
Sunday evening was at Calvary Bible Church in Derry, NH, pastored by John Talley. It was a wonderful visit with a great group of believers, but it was also a memorable time as I met my roommate from my high school year at Dublin Christian Academy. I praise the Lord when I see old friends continuing to walk with the Lord and to serve Him.

Monday was spent at chapel at DCA where one student came up to me to express his desire to go into missions. What an encouragement to see God raising up more laborers for His harvest. My heart was also blessed to see that God is continuing to bless the school under the leadership now of Kevin Moody.
Woodstock, VT
Monday evening was a trip to Woodstock, VT and time with my in-laws, Roy and Margaret Thomas. My father-in-law continues to battle cancer, but it was a joy to share time in God's Word with him at some bible studies and to see that his faith rests in the Lord alone. Please pray for him, for strength, healing and grace.
Methuen, MA
The remainder of my time was spent at the missions conference at Fellowship Bible Church, pastored by Dan Trepanier. My family has a long history with this church, but it had been at least 12 years since my last visit, and my heart was overjoyed to get reacquainted with so many old friends and to learn of how God had been working in their lives. Most importantly, the conference was a great blessing and challenge to me as we considered the task of missions and discussed the necessities of that task. I know that I'm more excited then ever to get to South Africa, and I feel more prepared.
That's it for now. The next trip takes me to western NY in April and then on to California and Arizona in May. More later---
